Locally operated by Dan Fasking

Dan operates Throttle Up Flight Academy and oversees the aircraft, scheduling, and student experience. He is an FAA-certificated Airframe and Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization, bringing hands-on aircraft knowledge and a strong maintenance perspective to the operation.

Flight instruction is provided by certificated flight instructors who work directly with each student on an individual training plan.

Serving Peoria and communities west of Canton

Students from the Peoria area and western Fulton County can train at our Canton airport. Our home base is Canton Ingersoll Airport (CTK); we do not operate a separate training location in Peoria or the Spoon River communities.

Part 61 flexibility

Training is built around each student’s goals, availability, preparation, and progress. Students can begin with an introductory flight, work toward a private pilot certificate, continue into instrument training, or ask about aircraft rental.
